Ingredients required to make Moong Dal Khichdi recipe:
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 cup moong dal
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Water
Method to make the Moong Dal Khichdi recipe
- Take a bowl, and soak 1 cup of rice and 1/2 cup of dal in it for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Now take a pressure cooker, now put 2 tbsp ghee in it, and heat it.
- Now add soaked rice and dal and fry on low flame for 2 minutes.
- Now add 1 tsp salt, 1/4th tsp turmeric powder, and water as required.
- Now close the cooker and cook till 4 whistles.
- Now turn off the gas and after 5 to 10 minutes open the lid and serve hot.
