What are the ingredients used to make Samosa?
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt as per taste
- 80ml ghee
- 1/2 tsp join
- half a cup of green peas
- 100 g paneer
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 2-3 finely chopped green chilies
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp mango powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 2-3 tsp coriander
- oil for frying the samosa
How to make Aloo Samosa Recipe
Prepare dough for samosas
Now take a utensil to knead the dough, add 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds, and salt to it and mix. Now add ghee and mix it well with your hands. Now knead it by adding water little by little, and knead the dough tightly. After kneading the dough, keep it covered with a cloth for 20 minutes.
Prepare stuffing for samosa.
First, boil the potato, peel it, and mash it lightly or cut it into small pieces. Now take a pan, put 1 tbsp oil in it, and heat it. Now add paneer and fry it lightly, now add cumin, ginger, and green chilies and fry for 1 minute. Add peas and potatoes and fry for 1 minute. Add red chili powder, garam masala, mango powder, chaat masala powder, and salt and mix, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Now turn off the gas and take it out in a bowl, let it cool for a while.
Roll out the dough like a small puri and cut it in half
Take a ball of dough, keep it on a rolling board, and roll it into a roti shape with a rolling pin. Cut it from the middle. Now take one-half of the cut portion and apply light water on the edge with your finger. Fold it from both sides to make a cone shape.
Potato and Pea Masala Filling
Now put 2 spoons of potato and peas masala in it, and close it by applying a little water on the edge of the top. And in the same way, make all the samosas.
Fry the samosas in oil
Take a large pan, put oil in it and heat it on medium flame, now put the samosa and fry it well till it turns golden brown in color. Take it out in a bowl and serve it hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
