Shahi Paneer Recipe Ingredients
Ingredients For Gravy
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cardamoms
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 1 black cardamom
- 3 cloves
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Ingredients For Curry
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp shahi cumin
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/4 cup cream
- 250 grams paneer
- saffron
- 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
How To Shahi Paneer Recipe Step By Step Method
To Make Gravy:
- Take a pan or kadai, add 1 tbsp butter in it and heat up.
- Now add 2 cardamom, 1 inch cinnamon, 1 black cardamom, 3 cloves in it. And fry it on low flame.
- Now add 1 finely chopped onion. Add 3 cloves of garlic and ginger paste. And fry till it becomes soft.
- Now add 2 chopped tomatoes. And mix it well and cook till it becomes soft.
- Now add 1 cup of water, and add 1 teaspoon salt and cover and cook for 20 minutes.
- Now turn off the gas and let it cool down and make a paste by putting it in the mixer.
- Now take out the paste and filter it.
To Make Curry:

- Now add half a teaspoon of porcupine cumin and 1 bay leaf and fry it for a while.
- Now add 1/4th teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon chili powder and cook for a while on low flame.
- Now add onion and tomato paste. And mix well.
- Now add 1/4th cup of cream. and mix well
- Now add the finely chopped paneer, and cook it by covering the mixer well for 5 minutes.
- Now add 1 tsp of kasoori fenugreek and garam masala and mix it well.
- Now your shahi paneer is ready.
