 Cinnamon Baked French Recipe

– 1 loaf crusty sourdough – 8 whole egg – 2 cup whole milk – 1/2 cup whipping cream – 3/4 cup sugar – 2 tbsp. vanilla extract FOR THE TOPPING: – 1/2 cup flour – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1 tsp. cinnamon – 1/4 tsp. salt – 1 pinch nutmeg   – Fresh fruit (optional)

Grease a baking pan with butter, then break the bread into pieces and put it evenly in the pan

In a small dish, combine the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cream; pour over the bread, cover securely, and place in the refrigerator for several hours.

 In a separate dish, combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the butter pieces and chop them into the dry mixture until it resembles a fine pebble. Refrigerate the mixture.

Heat the oven to 350°F. Remove the casserole from the refrigerator, sprinkle with the crumb mixture, and bake for minutes.

Separate the different sections. Drizzle with hot pancake syrup and sprinkle with blueberries before topping with butter.
