Star-Studded Blueberry Pie At Home

LET'S MAKE

Ingredients

9 Inches Pastry

1 Cup Sugar

¼ Tsp Salt

4 Cups Fresh Blueberries

2 TBSp Butter

¼ Quick Cooking Tapioca

– 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice

 First make Pie Crust by rolling one half of pie dough on a floured surface on a 9 inch pie plate. Then cut and remove the rest of the pestry and refrigerate it  for 30 min.

 Now, Add and mix blueberries, tapioca, lemon juice and salt in a bowl and let it rest for 15 mins.

After adding butter in pie pastry, fill it using the blueberry mixture. Bake it at 400°. Next, reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 10 min. To avoid burning, keep the edges covered.

Bake the blueberries for about 15-20 minutes more on the lower rack of the oven. Cool the blueberries on a wire rack.

 Now, about ⅛ inch thick, roll another half of the dough. Then,cut the dough into smaller stars by using a star- shaped cutter and bake it for 5-10min on 350 Degrees until it turns golden brown.

Now, Take them out and allow them to cool off then put the stars on top of pie as per your desire.
