How to make Idli Recipe easily at home

Idli recipe is famous as breakfast which is also everyone's favorite. People like it very much in South Indian, rice, urad dal and salt are needed to make idli recipe,

Ingredients

1 cup urad dal, 2 cups rice, water (for soaking and grinding), 2 tsp salt, oil

Take a bowl, put 1 cup urad dal in it, add water to it, and soak for 2 hours.

Take another bowl, put 2 cups of rice in it, add water to it, and keep it soaked for 4 to 5 hours.

Now put the soaked urad dal in the grinder, adding water according to the need and grind it well. It will take 30 to 40 minutes.

Now keep the urad dal batter aside from one side.

Put the soaked rice in the grinder and grind it well by adding water as required. It will take about 10 to 15 minutes.

Now take out the rice batter and put it in the same vessel and mix it well. And keep it covered for 8 hours for fermentation.

Now add 2 tsp salt to the batter of fermented rice and urad dal urad and mix. Your idli batter is ready.

Take an idli plate, apply oil on it, and fill the idli batter only part. Now keep it in the steamer. And cover and steam for 10 to 12 minutes.
