Texa- Style Beef Brisket

Ingredients

1 Tbsp Celery Salt

½ Cup Beef Broth

1 Fresh Beef Brisket

1 Tsp Pepper

1 Tsp Chili Powder

2 minced garlic cloves

3 Tbsp worcestershire sauce

1 Tsp Liquid Smoke

Mix Combine the Worcestershire sauce with chili powder, garlic salt, celery salt and pepper in a large bowl. To coat, cut the brisket into halves. Cover and place in the refrigerator

Transfer beef to a 5- to 6-qt. Add broth and bay leaves to a slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until the meat is tender.

 For sauce, in a small saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender then add garlic and cook for 1 min then mix in all the ingredients and heat through.

Take brisket out of the slow cooker. Discard bay leaves. Combine 1 cup of the cooking juices and 1 cup water in a cup. Add the barbecue sauce the remove left juices.

Place brisket in the slow cooker. Add sauce mixture. Cover it and Cook on high for 30 minutes. This will allow the flavours to mix.

Now, Cut the beef into thin slices and serve with the sauce.
