Rasmalai Recipe: Rasmalai recipe is a favorite dessert of many Indian. Which is a famous Bengali sweet. To make this, Rabri and Chhena are first made. And later the chhena is added to the rabri. You can make it at home very easily.

Ingredients for Rasmalai Recipe:

For Chhena:

  • 2 liters of milk
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 3 pods cardamom
  • 7 cups water

For Rabri:

  • 1 liter milk
  • some saffron
  • pinch of saffron food coloring
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp dry fruits (chopped)

 Method to make Rasmalai Recipe:

  1. Take a pan or wok. Add milk to it and boil it.
  2. Now add lemon juice to it and mix.
  3. Now take a vessel and put a cloth on it and separate it. And keep it like this for 30 minutes in a cloth.
  4. After half an hour, mash it well for 10 minutes.
  5. Now make small flat hairs from it.
  6. Take a pan and boil sugar and water in it for 10 minutes.
  7. Then now put the flat hair in it and boil it covered for 15 minutes. Now take out all these hairs and keep them in another vessel.

For Rabri

  1. Take a pan, and add milk to it and boil it till it becomes creamy. Now add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron milk to it and mix it well and boil it.
  2. Now take out the Rabri in a bowl and keep it. And let it cool down.
  3. After it cools down, put it all over the hair. And also put dry fruits on top.
  4. Your Rasmalai is ready. You can share it with your family and relative or friend.
